Sube, Caracol, Sube
Digital Stage Design
"Sube, Caracol, Sube" is a digital stage design that consists of a 3D-animation. This projection draws inspiration from feminine music, particularly the bold, rebellious energy of Spanish speaking singers - like Emilia, Nathy Peluso and Rosalía - using the female body as a powerful symbol of self-portrayal and defiance. The integration of a snail, with its soft texture and spiral shape, represents resilience, slow but persistent growth, and the complexities of femininity. Bright red and blue were chosen to evoke rebellion and strength, creating a vibrant contrast that amplifies the emotional impact. Initially abstract, the visuals evolved to become more embodied and theatrical, with figures dancing between tradition and modern defiance. The project explores the layered symbolism of the body, color, and movement, making a bold feminist statement through art.
