Tension

The shipping of products of all kinds is becoming more and more important due to online trade and so it is not surprising that this is booming, especially in times of Corona. However, the packing size of pieces of furniture is often so large that an expensive forwarding agency must take over the dispatch. With Tension a folding table has been created, which not only allows a cost ef- fective dispatch without a forwarding agency due to its space-saving folding mechanism, but can also be stored at home in a space-saving way and can be easily assembled and disassembled without tools. The folding mechanism requires no mechanical parts whatsoever, so that the four parts of the table frame are held together by only four hoses. When the table frame is unfolded, the table top is inserted between the frame and held by the tension of the hoses.
