Implemented maximalism

„Implemented Maximalism“ developed as a transitional solution to our overconsumption. While researching our buying behaviour in connection to our emotions, I found a strong need for distraction. People collect things of emotional value, but our products are not made to last. This obstacle I try to overcome by offering a customisable organization system with modular parts. The user can build their very own piece of furniture matching their interest and living situation, while learning new skills in an open community, hopefully leading to change in thinking about the way we use our resources and value objects.
The target group in particular are the extreme consumers who don‘t identify with mainstream sustainability ideas.
