Form and context
The Form and Context teaching area encompasses projects that examine the content and aesthetics of product environments and their contexts of use.
The respective topics are initiated and guided by the teaching staff in group projects. However, independent projects initiated by the students themselves are also supervised. In
the Form and Context teaching area, students have the opportunity to design and implement objects and products in a context-oriented manner. They learn to discover product environments and areas of application and to develop a feel for the content-related and aesthetic connections. This includes scientifically and methodically examining the respective product context and developing products that are appropriate for their respective environments. In this teaching area,
Prof. Marion Digel tests an open-ended design process that is individually tailored to the respective problems.
